Ipswich All Saints church party

Welcome to All Saints, Ipswich!

We are a family friendly church based on Chevallier Street, Ipswich.

It is with deep sadness that we heard of the death of her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. We send our sincere condolences to her family.

Bishop Martin writes:

“Through her decades of devotion to her role and to the people of the Commonwealth she has given us all remarkable focus of constancy and stability, and an example of self-giving service. She was always clear how her Christian faith was at the heart of this, and how she found in her faith strength, fortitude and hope.

“She was a wonderful ambassador for Britain and an example to us all. I know people will want to pay their own personal tributes to someone who has been a part of this great country’s fabric for so many years.

“Books of condolence have been opened across the churches in our Diocese. As a mark of respect for Her Majesty the Queen, flags on all churches are also being flown at half-mast.

“Her family are much in our prayers, and in particular we hold His Majesty the King in our prayers as he accedes to the throne.”

All Saints will be open over the next 10 days for those who wish to come in and pray.

Confirmed times of opening are

Friday 9th open until 8pm

Saturday 10th open 9.30am-4pm

Sunday 11th open during service times 9am-12 noon (services at 9am and 10,30am) and 6.30-8pm

Our Services

We meet at 10:30am for a service suitable for all ages, with Sunday school each week except for the All Age service on the first Sunday of the month. Communion is part of our service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. We also meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening at 6:30 for an informal service in which we are currently working through God’s word. We are now restarting our more traditional service at 9am each Sunday. This will be communion on the 2nd and 4th Sunday, and Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Sunday.

We are still offering online services which you can find here.

Where to find us on a Sunday.

We are based on Chevallier Street, Ipswich, IP1 2PQ

We are part of the Parish of St Matthew, Triangle and All Saints, (see more here) and part of the wider Church of England family of churches.

Our doctrine is based upon the teachings of the Bible, which records God’s interactions with humanity. We affirm both the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed – these are ancient statements of faith from the earliest days of Christianity. For a more detailed discussion on what we believe, come along to a service or to a midweek event and talk to us! Or alternatively, drop us a message.
